HARDWARE

  • Everything
    • We may at Our discretion choose not to include support of devices over 5 years of age under Our Agreement.
  • PCs
    • Must be 5 years or younger or covered by extended warranty or other vendor support
    • Must have a minimum Intel Core i5 CPU (or equivalent), 8 GB of memory and a 250GB Solid State Drive
    • Must include a 3 year warranty with on-site parts and labour, with a Next Business Day response where available.
  • Servers
    • Must have active warranty *including on-site labour and replacement parts as well as Next Business Day response
  • Networking Equipment
    • Must have active support from vendor (i.e. firmware updates are still being published)
    • Network Switching must have a gigabit networking
    • *UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies)
      • Network switches, firewalls, routers, wireless access points and phone systems must at least be on a basic UPS.
      • Servers must be on an Online UPS, with UPS monitoring setup for all Servers.
      • UPS’s must be tested annually, and batteries replaced on a regular cycle (usually every 2-3 years).
      • UPS devices themselves must be replaced every 5-10 years depending on performance and warranty of the device.
  • Printers / Copier
    • Must have active support agreement or support partner for Multi Function Printers.
    • We do not provide hardware support for printers, however we will work with either your managed printer provider or a reputable printer technician to resolve issues with printer hardware.

OPERATING SYSTEMS

  • Must have Operating System that is under support by vendor
  • Managed patching is only available for Microsoft or Apple Operating Systems
